Guinness (stout)
- alcohol: 5%
- color: very dark opaque black/brown
- head: very thinck and creamy, about 1 fingerwidth in height
- aroma: strong rosted aroma
- Flavor: very bitter, but not overpoweringly so, a hint of chocolate like flavor, a very thick/heavy beer, not much in the way of other flavors
- overall impressions: a pretty good beer, not watery like the general american beer, it has a distinctive bitter/chocolaty flavor but little else to offer to the pallate. its price ids above most domestic beers but it seems to be a good
pick for a middle of the road beer. its heavyness does not lend it to be consumed in warm weather, but it would be rather nice on a cool fall/spring day

Gueuze Lambic (non-fruit lambic, Belguim)
- color: a light amber
- Head: almost none
- Aroma: slightly sweet effervescant odor
- Flavor: this has a very bizar and complex flavor, it has a bittersweet first taste, ia bit like sour apples with some bitter aspect
added, and finishes with a smoky/earthy/musty aftertaste
- Overall Impressions: this is a very odd tasting beer, the tartness and bitterness are not bad, and its efervessance is somewhat
pleasant, but the strong mearthy aftertaste makes this lambic far less refreshing than a fruit lambic and leaves you with an ofdd taste
in your mouth afterwards.
